The Hacettepe University Department of Health Management has been awarded accreditation following an evaluation conducted by the Accreditation Board for Health Sciences Education Programs (SABAK).

As the Hacettepe University Department of Health Management, we are proud to have successfully completed the SABAK accreditation process. We would like to thank all of our academic and administrative staff, our students, and all the stakeholders who contributed to this important achievement.

Post-Accreditation Audit Evaluation Meeting (SABAK)

On Wednesday, 17 December 2025, the Department of Health Management at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences held a post-audit evaluation meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mehmet TOP following the SABAK accreditation audit. At the meeting, the SABAK accreditation audit process was evaluated and feedback on the process was provided to faculty members. The strengths identified during the audit process, as well as areas open to improvement, were discussed. Views were also exchanged regarding the work that will need to be carried out in the coming period to ensure the sustainability of the accreditation process.

On 05.11.2025, a meeting was held with our class representative students as part of the accreditation process.

2024-2025 Academic Year External Stakeholder Meeting

The 2024-2025 Academic Year External Stakeholder Meeting was held with the participation of: Prof. Dr. Afsun Ezel ESATOĞLU (Ankara University); Prof. Dr. Çağdaş Erkan AKYÜREK (Ankara University); Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Mahir ÜLGÜ (Advisor to the Minister of Health); Nihat Barış SEBİK (Head of the Telehealth and Application Development Department, Ministry of Health); Mevlüde Ergezen (Quality Manager, Yüzüncü Yıl Hospital); Hülya Köse (Head of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, Hacettepe University); Elif Karakoyun (Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Ankara Provincial Health Directorate); Rıdvan Üzümcü (Quality Officer, Bayındır Health Group); and Serkan Esen (Deputy Head of Support Services, Ankara Provincial Health Directorate).

Mentor Meetings

On Tuesday, 3 June 2025, a meeting was held with our mentor, Assoc. Prof. Nesrin Akca. Views were exchanged on the roadmap to be followed.

Peer Review Feedback Meeting

The Peer Review Feedback Meeting was held with the participation of Murat KARAAĞAÇ (Head of the Department of Strategy Development), Lecturer Berna GÜVENDİREN YILMAZ (Deputy Head of the Strategic Management and Planning Division), Kemal KOÇ (staff member of the Quality Management Office), and our department's faculty members.
