The quotas for inter-institutional transfer applications are determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), while the quotas for intra-university transfer applications are determined by the Hacettepe University Executive Board.
Applications for both inter-institutional and intra-university transfers are accepted on the dates specified in the annual transfer application calendar. Applications are evaluated by the relevant academic units in accordance with the principles set forth in the directives approved by the Hacettepe University Senate, and the results are subsequently announced.

Transfer procedures are carried out in accordance with the Hacettepe University Principles and Procedures for Inter-Institutional Transfers. Course exemption and credit transfer procedures are conducted in accordance with Article 10 of the Hacettepe University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations and the Principles and Procedures for Course Equivalency in Internal and External Course Transfers, and are finalized upon approval by the University Executive Board.
